Adirondack Wedding | Garnet Hill Lodge

Being a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in so many different settings - but coming back to the Adirondacks is always a favorite.
We got to celebrate Sean & Moira at Garnet Hill Lodge in North River, New York. There was something extra special about this because I got to spend the evening before at their Welcome Party - it was magical to hear the tales of their lives and how they were woven together before celebrating them at their wedding!
Their wedding day was nothing short of stunning, but one of my favorite details was that- Moira’s mom made her gown!
Sean & Moira took their wedding day as an opportunity to highlight things important to them, their families and their relationships. They shared in an age old tradition of a Pittsburgh Cookie table! This was a new tradition to me! Friends and family brought hundreds of home made cookies, of every variety you could think of and lined multiple tables with platters full - Chocolate chip, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Crinkle, Black & White, Italian Flag and countless more! Every guest got a to-go box and filled it to the brim with their favorites! This is a tradition I would love to see more of.
So excited to share these with you.
